Kernel Zone Electron Migration
Standard Operating Procedure for performing Kernel Zone Electron Migration from CADIX environment, including ESO menu navigation, prerequisite validation, and virtual host movement.
1. Login to CADIX Server
Electron migration operations must be initiated from the CADIX server environment.

2. Launch ESO Menu

- Select System Tools
- Select Migration
- Select Electron Menu
4. Electron Menu Options
- Check hot migration prerequisites
- Check hot migration prerequisites with IP change
- Move virtual host
- Move virtual host with IP change
5. Perform Prerequisite Check
Always execute hot migration prerequisite check before initiating migration.
⚠️ Use IP-change options only if explicitly approved in Change Management.
6. Provide Migration Details
- Enter Virtual Host Name
- Enter Target Hypervisor
- Refer Change Management → Justification tab
7. Prerequisite Execution Result
Wait for prerequisite validation to complete.
❌ Failure → Fix issues and rerun check
✅ Success → Proceed to migration approval

8. Update Change Management
- Copy prerequisite summary
- Open Change Task → LIVE MIGRATION OR NOT
- Update description and save
9. Change Leader Verification
Ensure the assigned Change Leader validates and approves the migration based on Assignment Group responsibility.
✅ Migration Preparation Completed
The system is now ready for Kernel Zone Electron Migration execution.
